About us

We purchased Seashells cottage in 2016 and have been letting regularly since then. We want others to enjoy Helford Passage as much as we do.

We come here as often as we can - all year.  Lots of walking in the winter - and, in the summer,  time on the beach, in the pool or on the water.

As soon as we arrive the first thing is to walk to the beach and enjoy a glass of wine at the Ferryboat. Next day it's on with the walking boots and set out on the coastal path which is on the doorstep - maybe take the ferry across to Helford village for more walking - or take out a boat and explore the creeks of Helford River.

With its south facing terrace we eat outside whenever we can.  But if it’s winter and cold then, after a long walk, we get cosy with a log fire and watch a movie on Netflix.

Apart from being so close to the water there are so many things to do without getting in the car!

The Helford River www.helford-river-boats.co.uk - the gardens, Glendurgan, (National Trust) and Trebah; the Ferryboat Inn; the South West coastal path  ......... all on the doorstep.

We  even have our groceries delivered from Sainsbury’s.  All the other supermarkets  deliver too.

A short car journey to the beautiful Kynance Cove where the National Trust cafe serves delicious food - and a visit to the Minack Theatre for a memorable performance in the summer is a must.

There is golf  nearby at Budock Vean hotel - only a 15 minute walk from Seashells Cottage ............. and a pampering  at the Spa for an extra treat!
